The Cottage is a stunning self contained heritage listed sandstone cottage set on the beautiful grounds of the Berry House estate.
Built in 1857 the cottage was originally the servants quarters for the Eales family who lived alongside in the main Berry House. With a master bedroom, kitchen living/dining room, seperate lounge/TV/reading room with lovely enclosed wood burning fireplace and recently renovated bathroom/shower, the cottage provides a beautiful and relaxed setting.
As a guest you have full access to wander the gardens, lounge by the pool, rejuvenate in the sauna, read or have sunset drinks by the fire pit, visit the sheep, collect some farm fresh eggs for break, go for a bike ride or visit the abundant wineries, restaurants and attractions of the Hunter Valley.
Only a couple of minutes from the historic town of Morpeth, 22 minutes from Newcastle Airport and 30 minutes from central Newcastle the cottage is an ideal base to explore the wider Hunter region or to just chill and enjoy the gorgeous, quiet country location in a relaxed heritage setting.
